As we come up to the end of the calendar year please remember to send Sam your BBKA membership renewal. Insurance is always a prickly subject as you are paying for something you hope will never happen, but if it does you will be relieved that you had the foresight to plan for the fact that it may happen.

Your BBKA membership gives you the security that should you and your bees have the misfortune to contract AFB or EFB you will be compensated for their necessary destruction. But your membership fees also pay for a great deal more - they keep the organization going and we therefore have an advocate for bees nationally, an organisation that promotes research into bees.
